Architect vision

"I have known this place from my childhood. It is the very heart of Warsaw, a city with untold potential. Złota 44 will symbolize this wealth of opportunity and emphasize its value to the world."

Mr. Libeskind, Architect, Złota 44 Project.

Born in postwar Poland in 1946, Libeskind was made an American citizen in 1965. He studied music, both in Israel, and in New York, becoming a virtuoso performer. He left music to study architecture. With over forty projects worldwide, Mr. Libeskind has designed such world-renowned projects as the master plan for the World Trade Center in New York and the Jewish Museum Berlin.  Most recently, Studio Libeskind completed the Grand Canal Theatre project, a major addition to Dublin’s docklands and cultural core, and Crystals at CityCenter, a 500,000 square foot (or 45,000 sqm) retail complex that serves as the centerpiece to MGM Mirage’s signature development on the Las Vegas Strip.  Daniel Libeskind has received numerous awards, including the 2001 Hiroshima Art Prize, an award given to an artist whose work promotes international understanding and peace. His work has been exhibited extensively in major museums and galleries across the world. In 2004, Riverhead Books (Penguin Group) published his memoir, Breaking Ground. The foreign language editions, including a Polish one, encompass more than 90 countries.

Jean-François Ott, President, CEO and Founder of Orco Property Group. Jean-François Ott founded Orco Property Group in 1991, since than he stays true to his company's principles: Redefining the modern property design through spectacular architectural realizations.
